Submissions
As our name suggests, we are highly selective in the pieces we admit and we seek to publish the very best of work. We love unique, surprising, and experimental writing. We love work that sticks with us and work that considers both the ordinary and the extraordinary. We might reject you, but hey, we’re poets: rejection is in our blood. We look forward to receiving your wild, shattering, chewy, and intimate pieces of work. We love them, and you, already.
If submitting poetry, please send us 3-5 of your most polished poems. Keep them all in one, easy to access document such as a .docx or PDF.
If submitting prose, please send us one fiction or non-fiction flash piece that is around 500 words or less. Again, we prefer .docx or PDF formatting.
We do accept simultaneous submissions, however please contact us and withdraw your submission if it is published elsewhere.
Email all submissions directly to rejectedlitmag@gmail.com along with a short author bio that includes social media handles, personal websites of any sort, previous publications, and other cool details about your life as a writer. Thank you and we look forward to reading your work!
*Any and all writing that includes slurs or artistically unnecessary violence directed towards minorities of any kind will immediately be rejected. We hate that, and you, already.
